Socialno Kmetijstvo za Starejše
Cilj projekta FarmElder je ponuditi kmetom priložnost, da vključijo socialno kmetijstvo, kot dodatno dejavnost na kmetiji.
Socialno kmetijstvo je edinstvena oblika terapije, ki jo Di Iacovo in O’Connor, 2009 opredeljujeta kot “kratkoročne ali dolgoročne dejavnosti, ki uporabljajo kmetijske dobrine, kot so živali in rastline, za spodbujanje in ustvarjanje socialnih storitev na podeželju”. Primeri teh storitev vključujejo rehabilitacijo, terapije, zaposlitev ranljivih skupin, vseživljensko izobraževanje in druge dejavnosti, ki prispevajo k socialni vključenosti. Na podlagi našega skupnega sodelovanja, smo ugotovili, da je mogoče združiti prednosti socialnega kmetovanja s potrebami starejših ljudi.
Cilj projekta FarmElder je ponuditi kmetom priložnost, da vključijo socialno kmetijstvo, kot dodatno dejavnost na kmetiji. Za kmete, ki se že ukvarjajo s socialnim kmetijstvom, bo projekt FarmElder omogočil usposabljanja o delu s starejšimi ljudmi. Projekt pa bo omogočil kmetu tudi povezovanje z ponudniki storitev in drugimi podporniki, ter povečati prepoznavnost njihovega dela.

Biotehniški center Naklo je izobraževalna ustanova s 120-letno tradicijo. Organiziran je v treh enotah: Srednja šola, poklicna šola in raziskovalna enota ter medpodjetniški izobraževalni center, ki obsega projektno pisarno, enoto za izobraževanje odraslih, trgovino, mlekarno in praktične delavnice.
Univerza za trajnostni razvoj Eberswalde (HNEE) v Nemčiji je univerza uporabnih znanosti, ki se že 190 let posveča trajnostnim raziskavam in poučevanju.
Združenje za razvoj podeželja Montemuro, Arada in Gralheira je zasebna in neprofitna organizacija, ustanovljena leta 1991, s sedežem v Arouci na Portugalskem. Glavni cilj je lokalni razvoj in spodbujanje potencialnih virov, ki jih ponuja to območje.
